Events

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame / DistinXion Boys High School Team Camp.  This event will take place Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24.  The event will feature 16 Indiana high school boys basketball teams playing at the New Castle Fieldhouse, New Castle Middle School and dNew Castle Henry County YMCA.  The event will be run by the DistinXion, a basketball organization operated by the legendary Zeller family from Washington, Indiana and will feature a character development session stressing the life lessons gained through basketball and the proper mental approach to the game. The theme of the event is "Teaching and Demonstrating Fundamentals that Transcend Time."

Over the course of two days, the 16 teams will play a total of 50 games, but beyond games, anemphasis will be placed on skill and character development.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to staff the games and for sponsors to help absorb the cost of running the event.  Any interested in volunteering or sponsorship may contact Chris May at (765) 529-1891 x105.
